Introduction

The 27th Graduation Exhibition of the Department of Product Design at Ming Chuan University bears the theme “Awake” — a metaphor for tender larvae, shaped and forged by countless days and nights, finally breaking free from their cocoons to emerge as butterflies in graceful flight. Wings spread wide, they ascend into vast, uncharted skies, releasing a quiet yet resonant force — delicate ripples that stir the air and swell into sweeping storms. These surges, born of subtle beginnings, guide us through the haze, leading us toward a future aglow with light and promise. The exhibition’s visual identity fuses acidic hues with luminous textures. Through flowing lines and asymmetric forms, the butterfly is abstracted — its silhouette dancing with shifting light and layered brilliance. Each flicker speaks to the unique visions of individual designers: diverse paths toward the future, each rich with boundless potential. Together, they echo the spirit of the Young Designers’ Exhibition — a future worth desiring.
