Introduction
“Mega Meikak” derives from the Taiwanese term “meikak”—symbolizing the details that are hidden beneath the surface, yet which can hold the key to success. In the aspect of multimedia design, the expression reminds creators to be mindful of these subtle yet crucial factors that not only influence a project’s quality and completeness, but also elevate the creative value and professional depth at its core. Furthermore, “Mega Meikak” combines the themes of both “multimedia” and “multi-angle” ideas, emphasizing that design is not solely limited to a single medium or perspective, but instead integrates many diverse elements such as images, sounds, and interactivity, to ensure that a project establishes connections and extends across various forms of media.
This concept simultaneously points out that media bridges the gap between information and audience; meanwhile, multiple perspectives allow a project to be comprehended and interpreted in varying ways. Design is not merely defined by its aesthetics on a surface level or its demonstration of technical skills. Rather, its “meikak” should be taken into account, through utilizing cross-media and paradigm shifts to solve an issue, convey a message, and create an interactive experience. Once a creator grasps the concept of “Mega Meikak,” multimedia design is no longer just a tool meant for communicating information, but rather becomes a medium interlinking creativity and skill with community, proving its depth and significance from a multifaceted point of view.
