Imagined Realm Dystopia

Introduction

Heterotopia, though imperfect and intricate, truly exists (heterotopia: other or different place).
Using existing materials to create works that present another world. The existing materials on Earth represent the real world, while the works created through these materials embody heterotopia. The expression of individuals is inherently heterogeneous. By embracing ecological liberation, individuals can manifest their uniqueness within reality.
1. Product Design – The concept encompasses practicality, craftsmanship, and ergonomics while emphasizing emotional interaction and user experience. By incorporating diverse materials, modern technology, and mechanical design, the goal is to create products where aesthetics and functionality merge seamlessly.
2. Metal Craft – Centered on metal as the primary material, utilizing techniques such as casting, forging, etching, stamping, and inlaying. By integrating various elements, metal is transformed into unique and extraordinary designs.
3. Wood Craft – Focused on wood as the main medium, employing techniques such as joinery, bentwood shaping, lathe work, and hand carving. The natural color and texture of wood are carefully considered, with finishing methods like waxing and polishing to enhance its warmth and organic appeal.
4. Ceramic Craft – Based on ceramics as the primary medium, utilizing techniques such as hand-throwing, molding, fine carving, and imprinting. The highly malleable nature of ceramics is shaped with meticulous design, then complemented with glazes and fired at high temperatures for hours, revealing its distinct and unique beauty.
