SEEK・LUMA・PATH

Introduction

Light—formless, intangible, yet somehow still noticeable. It makes no sound, but sure, let’s say it affects the world. People like to think it represents speed, energy, exploration, adaptability, and diffusion. Sounds a lot like a desperate metaphor for design, doesn’t it? We supposedly drift like light between creativity and reality, leaving behind some kind of “trail.” Whatever that means.

Apparently, we are light now, and every design is a “light trail.” This exhibition isn’t just about showing work, oh no—it’s a whole “dialogue” about chasing light. Because, sure, what better way to show design’s value than with a poetic overstatement? Let’s pretend all this creativity is forming into one big, blinding beam.

The visual theme supposedly revolves around “exploring light.” Red and blue beams cross like we’re in a sci-fi movie, trying really hard to feel futuristic and “immersive.” A central light shaft is meant to represent a designer breaking through the darkness—because subtlety is clearly overrated. The pitch-black background exists to make those light streaks look cooler, and remind us we’re all just... moving toward light. Or something like that.

The title “SEEK・LUMA・PATH” is carved-looking and dramatic, just to make sure you know it’s serious. It screams, “Hey, we’re designers! We’re navigating between ideas and execution like photons!” As if anyone asked for that comparison. There are some refracted lights, pixel shapes, waveform bits—because, of course, nothing says “the future” like throwing in every digital aesthetic we’ve got.

This whole exhibition clings to “light” as a metaphor, building the space, displays, and visuals around this idea. Supposedly, design is like light—piercing, adaptable, diffuse, and impactful. Sure. Visitors are invited to “find their own light trail,” whatever that means. There’s contrast between light and materials, an atmosphere of “fluid change,” and, of course, more talk about how this interplay somehow proves the value of design. Take it or leave it.
