Cristation

Introduction

Cristation is an abnormal development of an apical meristem characterized by indeterminate proliferative growth. In our daily lives, we draw from various elements—those details, moments, and emotions—that spark our innovation and uniqueness, like flowers waiting for Cristation, hoping to present an extraordinary self.
Creators keep learning, reflecting, and acting, transform and reorganize their life experiences. Through the organization of the exhibition space, they turn accidental cristation into inevitability, achieving the prospect they expect.
Our design students emphasize the skills of creative thinking and practical design. Designers start from their areas of expertise and dedicate to developing works through various design media and methods, such as metal, wood, ceramics, 3D printing, and UI/UX design. Due to their unique experiences, each designer brings their own thoughts and philosophies, which they incorporate into their works for expression.
Our craft works focus on three main categories: metal work, wood work, and ceramics. By skillfully utilizing the characteristics of different materials and combining themes such as nature, life, and culture, these works incorporate professional craft techniques. The handmade details within the works show the beauty of craftsmanship.
Our product design centers around contemporary issues such as environmental protection, education, culture, and social welfare. Designers research and innovate to address and solve real-life problems, presenting diverse thinking and cross-disciplinary design abilities through their works.
Through this exhibition, we aim to increase the exposure of our department, which exhibition space designed to help creators better showcase their designs and results. It also provides an opportunity for communication and discussions with other schools and various sectors.
