Introduction

On the journey of design, we constantly move forward within the ever-shifting realm of the “undefined,” which often exists as a vague outline—like a pair of empty parentheses waiting to be filled with countless possibilities. Each time we fill in the blank, it becomes an opportunity to reexamine the question, “What is design?” As we repeatedly inscribe different question marks, embracing diverse inquiries, speculations, and deliberations, the undefined and fluid space is rewritten time and again. Emotions and narratives layer upon one another within it, allowing new possibilities to blossom. Inspiration thus collides, transforms, and reorganizes within the vast nebula until, at a certain moment, it gradually connects and converges into an orbit, allowing design to descend to Earth.
