Introduction

Standing in front of the green screen, the background shifts like the ever-changing environment. The layered post-production process is bound together as a testament to generational growth. In the composition and reconstruction of identity, we explore and define the background behind us—through a perspective that is both constrained and liberated. Breaking the frame— We Define the Background This serves as the core concept for our graduation exhibition, showcasing 31 graduation projects from the Department of Commercial Design at Chung Yuan Christian University, including both the "Commercial Design" and "Product Design" divisions. Every moment in our design education mirrors a process of "post-production"—through layers and iterations, we grow alongside our creations. Drawing inspiration from the "green screen" used in studio production to present fresh visual effects, we adopt the green screen as both a concept and a spatial element for the exhibition, highlighting the process behind every act of design execution. In the journey of learning design, every experience—whether good or bad—is worth remembering.
