This series explores the survival crisis caused by air pollution, illustrating how humanity' s overexploitation accelerates the disappearance of natural world increasingly scarce. Reflecting on these consequences, Ye Jiaxin creates a large-scale headpiece imbued with a sense of ritualistic sacrifice. Inspired by the aromatherapeutic properties of Melaleuca quinquenervia, she arranges slender, leaf-shaped ornaments in a dynamic composition. Using refined chasing and repousse techniques, she enhances the metal' s rich texture while layering openwork structures to create depth, rhythm, and movement throughout the piece.
