"Pocket Montage" is a fashion design entirely composed of pockets, aimed to reduce the waste and alleviate the guilt caused by impulsive buying driven by fast fashion. Our goal is to strengthen the connection between people and their clothes and extend the product's life span. The pockets, made from paper textiles with zippers, snap buttons, and punching holes, allow for modular assembly.

We designed"Pocket Montage," a new kind of clothing which strengthens the emotional connection between people and their clothes and has multiple uses. The design features the composition of many reusable and detachable pockets. Users can either wear a whole piece of clothing or carry a pocket associated with an entire piece of clothing. The pocket design features paper textiles with zippers, snap buttons, and punching holes for modular assembly. Pocket designs with different shapes and sizes can be used for many items. In addition, it can be used as a handbag when storing other small bags, while also being able to store in the clothing itself.
The color scheme and graphic design of the pockets can be adapted to different settings. The current color scheme incorporates the Chinese Five Elements-Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. Users can wear pockets in different colors to enhance their fortune based on numerology, achieving balance, while also adding a spiritual function.
In summary, the pocket system acts as the garment's outer shell, offering endless ways to style it. By adapting to the fast fashion industry's constant turnover, these combinations keep the garment fresh and suitable for personal use every day.
