四點設計 Contact to Sound Swing – Children's Sound Exploration Toy for cooperation

Our lives are filled with sounds, yet they are often overlooked. This is especially true for school-age children growing up in a technology-driven world—surrounded by abundant visual stimuli but with relatively little focus on auditory development. At a critical stage of sensory and cognitive growth, opportunities for children to actively explore sound are limited.

Sound Swing draws inspiration from wind chimes and incorporates modular component design. Its appearance takes cues from the whimsical aesthetics of amusement parks, turning sound exploration into part of a child’s everyday life. Children are encouraged to freely experiment with different materials and shapes to create their own unique sound combinations—awakening their sensitivity and curiosity toward sound. Through hands-on exploration, experimentation, and playful creation, Sound Swing aims to bring the joy and creativity of sound into daily routines, inviting children on their very own auditory adventure—just like stepping into a magical playground.

Combine three modular parts to create a variety of sound experiences. Wind chimes can be intuitively swapped by hanging them into the grooves. Rotating the main disc makes chimes strike the center striker and produce sound. Groove design and disc options allow flexible chime placement and combinations.
