In today's society, energy issues and environmental protection have become global concerns. With the growing challenges of climate change and limited resources, the importance of energy education is increasing. Currently, children's environmental education is mostly textbook-based, often too abstract to maintain their interest. Incorporating educational tools that apply a "learning through play" approach can significantly enhance children's motivation and comprehension, allowing them to naturally acquire energy-related knowledge through engaging activities.
Energy education is typically an entry point in environmental education, as it is relatively simple and closely connected to daily life—for example, using household appliances and understanding where electricity comes from. Through gamified design, children can interactively learn about different energy sources, how electricity is generated, and the essential components involved, helping them understand energy's role in everyday life.
This educational tool centers on strategic gameplay, encouraging children to evaluate the pros and cons of various power plants and make thoughtful decisions about which ones to build. By combining visual and hands-on experiences such as building block models, the game helps reinforce concepts and enhance engagement. Overall, it aims to create an educational, interactive, and enjoyable learning tool that enables children to grow through both play and experience.
