四點設計 Contact to HaHo - Respiratory Training Device for cooperation

HaHo Breathing Trainer supports children with muscular dystrophy by using sensors, gamified interaction, and data tracking to encourage regular respiratory training. Designed to be safe, fun, and part of daily life, HaHo is a small companion that helps kids breathe out courage and breathe in hope.

The HaHo Breathing Training Device strengthens patients' respiratory muscles through engaging physical and app-based games, while basic at-home monitoring helps quantify the effectiveness of Training is conducted with three different game accessories, each targeting a specific breathing goal, enhancing the overall user experience. The submarine game trains breath-holding endurance, the floating ball game focuses on controlling exhalation strength, and the bamboo-copter game enhances breath concentration. Sensors detect the user's inhalation and exhalation volume, converting their breath into kinetic energy for the game characters—adding more fun and variety to the training—while simultaneous The app interface allows patients to check in daily for their training goals. In addition to offering games with varying levels of difficulty, it also records basic data after each session, HaHo—Power in Every Breath.

Sleep Turning Assistive Device

Department of Industrial Design, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology

Patients with muscular dystrophy often require caregiver assistance to turn over every two hours at night to prevent pressure sores due to muscle paralysis and atrophy. This design centers on enabling patients to turn independently, aiming to ensure safe sleep while relieving the physical and mental burden on caregivers—creating a more dignified and restful care experience for both sides.
