The documentary will showcase the rich cultural activities of Beigang, such as the Beigang Mazu Pilgrimage, the unique lantern art found in local temples, and the atmosphere of Beigang’s streets at night. Through these visuals, we aim to capture the layered beauty and dynamic movement of the lanterns' light.
In the interview segments, we will also explore the perspectives of those who have chosen to stay and develop their lives in Beigang, offering a more comprehensive and authentic portrait of the town.
The completed film will present the charm of lanterns illuminating the night, the cultural ambiance of Beigang’s streets, and the authentic moments of the craftsman’s focused work. It will allow viewers to experience the meticulous craftsmanship and dedication behind each lantern, as well as the lively scenes of the Beigang Mazu Pilgrimage, highlighting the uniqueness and vitality of local culture.
