Targeting adolescents aged 16 to 24 facing unplanned pregnancies, our app aims to alleviate the psychological impact and guide them in making informed decisions within a limited timeframe. Through digital companionship, the app supports users in evaluating their personal situations—starting with self-awareness, communication with partners, assessing available resources, enhancing sexual health knowledge, and ultimately seeking government assistance. By combining curated data and a warm, user-friendly interface, we help users process their thoughts and feelings with clarity.

In today's society, with increasing openness in values, young people place greater emphasis on bodily autonomy and are more accepting of premarital sexual activity. According to statistics, the rate of unplanned pregnancies among adolescents in Taiwan is steadily rising. However, for these young individuals, psychological adjustment and future planning often lack sufficient support and guidance. By leveraging academic research and firsthand interviews, we gather relevant information and design targeted prompts that assist users in evaluating themselves—both emotionally and practically—before stepping into parenthood. In doing so, we aim to foster healthier personal outcomes and contribute to the well-being of society as a whole.

Freedom

Department of Product and Media Design, Fo Guang University

Freedom is not a state of stillness, but a balance found in constant change. A throne is not a symbol of authority, but a reminder that everyone deserves their own sovereignty. By redefining freedom and challenging tradition, this chair allows everyone to wear their own crown—embracing independence and self-determination.
